Northgate State School has changed the way we undertake Friday Sport this year. As an important part of our 2 hours of physical activity per week our Year 4-7 students are learning the skills of Softball. In fact this term we have even changed the day. It’s Wednesday Sport this term.
Utilising the talents of Mrs Sue Guymer (2007 Runs Battered In Award winner for her premiership winning Softball Team), Mrs Narelle Robins (Softball player extraordinaire) and Kate Colahan (Super Coach), our students are in a very good place to learn from the best!
Our students will culminate the Softball Sport Season with game play where it will be house against house! Parents and Friends welcome to attend on Wednesday afternoon and join in the fun and fitness.
